This workshop with Mark Andres provides a unique opportunity to learn levels 1 and 2 of Usui Reiki, typically taught as separate classes.
This all day workshop is a practical introduction to the Japanese healing art, Reiki. The morning focuses on Level 1 beginning with a brief history of Usui Reiki in Japan and The West. You will then receive an attunement to Reiki Level 1. The focus of Level 1 is on learning the basic hand positions for performing Reiki on yourself as well as on others. An ample amount of practice time is included. You will also receive a Level 1 workbook to facilitate your own practice.
The Level 2 class begins in the afternoon with an attunement to Reiki Level 2. This class focuses on learning the Reiki symbols. You can use these symbols to increase the power of your Reiki flow, to send Reiki healing remotely, and use it for emotional healing. An ample amount of practice time is included. This class concludes with a discussion of various practical issues concerning a Reiki practice such as legal, spiritual, and administrative. You will also receive a Level 2 workbook to facilitate your own practice and a certificate of completion.

After attending this class, you will know what Feng Shui is, the basic history of Feng Shui in China, what Yin and Yang really are, and things represent favorable and unfavorable Feng Shui. In addition, you will learn types of buildings to avoid and practical techniques that you can use right away to improve the Feng Shui in your home. This course is authorized by Master Joseph Yu of the Feng Shui Research Center in Toronto, Canada.

Feng Shui for Interior Designers – Learn the basics of traditional Chinese Feng Shui. After attending this class, you will know what Feng Shui is, the basic history of Feng Shui in China, and specially how Feng Shui principles can be implemented in interior design. (60-90 minutes)

Usui Reiki, Level 3 – Introduces the Reiki master symbol and performing Reiki attunements. Includes a level 3 attunement and practice time. This class concludes with a discussion of various practical issues concerning a Reiki practice such as legal, spiritual, and administrative. You will also receive a Level 3 workbook to facilitate your own practice and a certificate of Reiki mastery. (2 hours)
Yi Jing Divination in a Nutshell - Learn the basics of Chinese divination using the Book of Changes. After attending this class, you will know how to cast a divination reading, the basics of how to interpret the reading, and some simple tips for selecting a good translation. (60-90 minutes)
Plum Blossom Divination – Learn Plum Blossom Divination (Mei hua xin yi or Mei hua yi shu), a divination system developed by Chinese Yi Jing Master Shao Yung (1011-1077). Based on the Book of Changes, Shao Yung developed this system as a more logical and reliable system of divination. Rather than relying on philosophical interpretation, this system is grounded in the Chinese five element system which is the root of Chinese metaphysics, Chinese traditional medicine, and Feng Shui. This professional level course is authorized by Master Joseph Yu of the Feng Shui Research Center in Toronto, Canada. (2 day course)
